On 2nd July 2016, the United Nations’ (UN) International Day of Cooperatives, H.E. President Yoweri Kagua Museveni officiated the opening of the UMPCU abattoir in Butalangu town council, Nakaseke District.
This day equally fell on the United Nations’ (UN) International Day of Cooperatives, which is observed on the first Saturday of July each year.
