The Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) convened a meeting on 20th June 2018 to validate the technical assessment on animal health challenges posed by Ticks and Tick-borne diseases in Uganda.
The 2-day meeting at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala, is being attended by farmers, representatives from the European Union, FAO, National Drug Authority, Makerere University College of Medicine, Animal Resources and Bio-security (MAK-COVAB), Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), Uganda Meat Producers Cooperative Union Ltd. (UMPCU), Drug companies and District officials.
